The content is the following and was decided in order to be both maximally affordable and pertinent, following more than a year of exchanges with epidemiologists, gerontologists, geriatrists, athlete coaches, a lung specialist, a gynecologist, longevity medicine MDs, oncology experts, pharma experts and many life extensionists... In what follow, we try to vulgarize the underlying choices facilitate the link with the picture:
1. General philosophy
All the following aging markers start to decline at age 30-35 if not earlier and they all predict mortality rate. They are selected so that you do not have maximal scores in order to potentially see improvements even at age 30. We combine them into a unique marker, more robust and more predictive. The statistics of geroprotector versus placebo will be put online for all markers. We do not rely only on blood because health is also largely functional. We put a high emphasis on cardiovascular health and cancer risks because their important causes of death, and on cognition because it is so much "us".
2. Cardiovascular health.
Hitting tubes i) hard, ii) frequently and iii) without absorbing chocs creates dammage. So we provide tools to measure i) blood pressure (top left), ii) heart rate (simultaneous), iii) arterial stiffness (top right). The latter represents atherosclerosis, that starts at age 5 or before (anecdotally the tool is fun to use and comes with SpO2, low in case of Covid).
3. Physical health.
Epidemiologists know that testing skills that are rarely practiced is inadequate: some happen to train them, other will get much better after a few tests... Luckily, everyday we i) breathe, we ii) use our hands much and iii) keep our head up. So, we test i) expiratory force (peak flow meter, bottom left), ii) grip strength (isometric dynanometer, bottom right), iii) balance (foam, top, Romberg test made more complex so not easily reach maximal score)
4. Cognition
Selecting people who can participate from home, using such tools and an app, clearly participants won't have severe cognitive issues. So i) we make the famous MMSE/Foldstein more difficult (image: left) and ii) we use the PASA test, whose results decrease strongly and early with age.
5. Blood tests
i) Many of you know the Levine clock (ex: albumin), that predicts mortality clocks. ii) We extend it to additional markers of cancer risks (ex: PSA) to try to grap cancer risks over participants. This, because there are questions with NMN or NAD+ or HGH or others

and the health markers above would not highlight cancer risks. iii) We add markers from the scientific field of endobiogeny that add insights of organ sufferings that lead to cancers many years after. Clearly: we want to avoid such risks ! Blood tests are not included in the price of the testing toolkit but they are much affordable than the new gold standard, DNA methylation tests (that are sadly not affordable by individuals for many measures). iv) We add some aging-specific markers, such as sa-beta-gal, a marker of senescent cells.

Warning: blood tests are not included in the price of this testing toolkit. People are to go to their nearest blood test lab. Our value is to propose the above list, in a coherent way across all participants, just like the other markers of aging in this basis toolkit.
6. General health
We add standard, general health questionaires. We add facial aging from an existing app - not with a large weight compared to other markers, but still interesting to have.
Based on historical databases and personal judgement, we combine the markers above into a general marker, to be more robust and represent the main endpoint of the studies.
7. Onboarding
Each of you is accompanied since start by a point of contact, in order to know how to use the tools, ask questions, be followed during collective assessments.
8. Other markers ?
We voluntarily made a toolkit that is affordable and powerful - because composed of "good old tricks" that have resisted time and are put together. However, one can be much more powerful by adding refined blood and facial analysis, DNA methylation tests, proteomics and also sorts of omics data, and many other features. If you are develop such features, please contact us (team at timeXtension dot com) so that we sell them on this site and help organize teams who combine this basic kit "for all" and one or several other kits. Apart from making a unique basic standard kit across the globe, we do not want to risk to step on toes and are happy to participate in your adventures by distributing and promoting them. Cheers ! 9. I didn't receive exactly what is on the picture ?
We rely on existing tools to make this testing kit. While we tried to ensure that the ones we choose are sufficiently standard for this not to happen frequently, we may from time to time change tools as long as they provide the same functionalities.
